Whole-Body Exposure to Far-Field Using Infinite Cylindrical Model for 5G FR1 Frequencies

Abstract
Analytic models of human body such as cylindrical and planar models are physically infinite. Hence, they can not be used to quantify whole-body SAR and Whole-body average SAR. In this paper, we proposed three averaging techniques to estimate Whole-body average SAR (WBASAR). Next, the chosen estimator was used with an infinite multilayered cylindrical (MLC) model in the first frequency range of 5G to adapt the later model to sub-6 GHz. Validating an estimator for 5G FR1 with a voxel model, has the benefit of using the estimator with 5G FR2, where voxlized model cannot be used. The adapted MLC model had matched the frequency of the first resonance.
