In this paper, an effective algorithm for selecting the design parameters in the modulating functions-based method (MFBM) is introduced. The appropriate selection of these parameters improves the performance of the estimation approach and reduces the computational cost. The effectiveness and robustness of the algorithm are shown through numerical simulations in a noisy environment.Citation
