A novel sky-blue (~480 nm) InGaN-based distributed feedback laser diode is developed for high-speed visible light communication. With a 3-dB system bandwidth of ~1.5 GHz, 10 Gbit/s is achieved by using orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing technology.Citation
