Hypocoilius
Summary
About 100 began roosted in palm trees at the stadium on 18th November 2011 and stayed until mid-February. Also seen the next year 2012. Smaller groups were seen in Autumn 2017 on the Island but the ‘roosting’ spot was not located. Notoriously erratic in their movements and one of the most sought out species for bird watchers visiting the Middle East.
