Session DescriptionThis lecture will cover the most common interface and interface techniques between sensors and microcontrollers. The presentation will introduce the pros and cons of each interface type including analogue, digital and serial output sensors. It will also cover the basic required electronics knowledge to help you in selecting and designing your next sensor to microcontroller interface.
Speaker Bio
Mohamed Norain is a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Schlumbergers High Efficiency Center of Excellence in Katy, Texas, United States. As part of his roles and expertise, Norain designs and develops Embedded solutions to sustain Schlumbergers measurements while drilling services. He holds a Master of Science with Distinction in Embedded Systems Engineering from Heriot-Watt University in the United Kingdom. In 2011 he received the highest Sudanese prize for scientific innovation and creativity.
