dc.description.abstractCrystalline nanostrips of AlOOH have been prepared at 240∘C through a fast route. Powder X-ray diffraction studies reveal that the as-prepared nanostrips are highly crystalline in nature and by morphological investigations using FESEM, it was revealed that the strips have average length of 210 nm and width of 60 ± 20 nm. A plausible theory is proposed which reveals the growth mechanism of nanostrips.
